He has participated in many scientific seminars and conferences held throughout Europe and in the Islamic world, and collaborated with several centres and mosques such as the Great Mosque of Paris and the Great Mosque of Lyon.
In 2006, Ahmed al-Tayyeb, former president of Al-Azhar University, appointed him as honorary member in the Executive Committee of the World Association of Al-Azhar Graduates.
He has acted during several years as Director of the Institut An-Nour and imam at the Great Mosque of Cergy, near Paris, teaching and managing educational and cultural activities in Arabic and Islamic civilisation.
He is the author of several articles on Islam, and has supervised many translations and publications on Islamic spirituality and theology, including Imam Abu Hamid al-Ghazali, Imam Abd al-Wahhab al-Sha‘rani or shaykh al-Azhar Abd al-Halim Mahmud’s.
